Old Westbury Aquatics (OWA) is a year-round competitive swimming program dedicated to help athletes reach their highest potential. We provide an atmosphere of challenging hard work and commitment that leads to excellence. Our goal is to develop each individual to the utmost of his or her potential, and to provide each athlete the attention and opportunity to systematically progress from novice to elite levels of competition. We will concentrate our efforts to produce swimmers qualifying for USS Junior Olympics, Zones, Senior Metropolitan Championships, National and International competitions. OWA practices and hosts their meets at the Clark Athletic Center, located at SUNY at Old Westbury, in Old Westbury, NY. While not everyone on the team will be a “superstar”, every swimmer can be and should be a winner. Emphasis is placed on building a team among swimmers, coaches and parents in a supportive, enthusiastic atmosphere. A comprehensive program of speed, strength conditioning, stretching and endurance training, combined with stroke development.
